OnTheTable.Africa ("we", "us") helps African tech professionals build verified public profiles. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control your data.
Information we collect
- Account details such as email address and authentication identifiers
- Profile information you choose to publish (name, work history, portfolio, CV)
- Usage and diagnostic data required to operate and secure the platform
How we use information
- Provide authentication, profile hosting, and visibility controls
- Process resume uploads and optional AI-assisted extraction when enabled
- Send transactional emails such as sign-in links and contributor invitations
- Protect the platform through access controls, audit logging, and abuse prevention
Sharing
Public profile content you mark as visible may be viewed by anyone with your profile link. We use infrastructure providers (including Supabase and email delivery services) to operate the platform. We do not sell personal data.
Your choices
You can update profile visibility in settings, deactivate public visibility, or contact support to request account assistance.
